Marca Corona Delicata | Italian Inkjet Full-Body Porcelain Tile
Marca Corona excels at white marbles and Delicata is the new collection showcasing their special skill and expanding the concept into warmer tones. The Calacatta Velato is timeless, sophisticated and remarkably subtle, with veins that are so gently rendered that it really looks like they are underneath the surface, and some pieces have almost no veining at all. The Pure Avorio is a honey onyx. It’s warm and inviting, and the same technique of layered graphics creates a depth where it feels like you are looking through a translucent surface to what’s beneath. The Taj Cristallo is the much sought-after Cristallo version of Taj Mahal. They worked hard to get the color just right and also toned down the graphic of the real marble to make it even more appealing. The Velvet finish feels like a honed surface, that is smooth but still passes DCOF.

The 24 x 48 size is only available in Taj Cristallo (MCDATC) color.
Ordering
Due to the special packing required for the large format tiles, orders for the 24x48 size must be for full box quantities only and we are not able to fill orders on the same day as placed.
Trim
The surface bullnose is made from field tile that is cut, ground and reglazed.
Usage and Installation
Delicata is suitable for both residential and commercial applications that do not require an R rating. As with all inkjet products, there are many different graphics that are mixed and packed randomly. To attain the proper mix of graphics and color it is important to pull from multiple boxes during installation, rotate pieces, and note the placement of the different images to get the proper final blend.
Most tile manufacturers recommend a maximum offset of 8” (20 cm) on all large format tiles when setting a running bond. Please refer to ANSI requirements for setting large format tiles, ANSI A 108.2 section 4.3.8. Using a leveling system can improve the installation of this product.
As noted in the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) the coefficient of friction varies considerably due to facts not under the control of entities such as the manufacturers and distributors. These factors include, but are not limited to, contaminants, slope of terrain, drainage conditions, adjacent surfaces, etc. Suitability for any installation can only be determined by a site examination of all conditions that could affect the slip resistance of the tile being installed. Continual cleaning and maintenance must be performed once the tile has been installed.
